The Crying Nudes Unabomber II (2023)
In an effort to draw attention to the dangers he saw in technological progress and industrialization, former mathematics professor Ted Kaczynski—commonly known as the Unabomber—carried out a series of terroristic acts between 1978 and 1995. His campaign of mail bombings targeted individuals connected to modern technology and industrial society, resulting in the deaths of three people and injuries to 23 others. Although his violent actions were widely condemned, Kaczynski's critique of technology and its effects on human life ignited intellectual discussions and inspired various artists. Among them is The Crying Nudes, who recorded today’s song:

Anchored by a rare interview, this Netflix-distributed four-part miniseries named Unabomber: In His Own Words details Ted Kaczynski's path from a young intellectual to one of the most feared people in US history. The documentary includes interviews with FBI Supervisory Special Agent Joel Moss, Gary Wright, who survived one of Kaczynski's bombs, as well as David Kaczynski and Linda Patrik, Kaczynski's brother and sister-in-law, who alerted the FBI about Ted in 1996.
